We have written it to be clear and straightforward — not buried in legal language designed to obscure what we actually do.
Ordira AI is a WhatsApp and Instagram ordering automation platform for vendors of all types. It is operated by Veritas Global Technologies Ltd (RC No. 7950823, Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria), with registered offices at 59, Ajayi Road, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.
When you create an account, connect your WhatsApp Business or Instagram account, or interact with any part of our platform, you are engaging with Ordira AI and entrusting us with certain information. This document explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we handle it, and what rights you have over it.

Account and Business Details
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, business name, phone number, and any payment or billing details required to process your subscription.
Menu and Operational Data
To power your AI ordering assistant, we store the menu items, prices, categories, variants, and policies you configure on the platform. This data is yours — we only use it to operate the assistant on your behalf.
WhatsApp Conversation Data
When customers message your business through our platform, we receive and store those conversations in order to process orders, maintain conversation state, and display history in your dashboard. This includes customer phone numbers, message content, and order details.
Order and Payment Records
We store records of orders created through the platform and payment events received from Paystack. We do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials — those remain with Paystack.
Usage and Technical Data
We collect information about how you use the dashboard, including feature interactions, page views, session duration, device type, browser, and IP address. This helps us improve the product and diagnose issues.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Running the Service
Your business data, menu, and conversation history are used exclusively to operate your AI ordering assistant — responding to customers, building carts, processing orders, and generating Paystack payment links on your behalf.
Improving the Platform
Aggregated and anonymised usage data helps us understand which features are most valuable, where friction exists, and how to make the product better. We never use individual vendor conversations for this purpose without explicit consent.
Billing and Account Management
We use your billing details to process subscription payments and send you receipts, renewal notices, and account-related communications.
Security and Fraud Prevention
Technical data like IP addresses and device information helps us detect suspicious activity, prevent unauthorised access, and keep the platform secure for everyone.
Legal Compliance
Where required by applicable law or regulation, we may use your data to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your data, rent it, or trade it. Period.
We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
Infrastructure and Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, database management, payment processing (Paystack), email delivery, and analytics. These providers only receive the minimum data needed to perform their function and are contractually bound to keep it confidential.
Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API)
Our platform operates on top of Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. Message delivery, phone number verification, and webhook events are processed through Meta's infrastructure in accordance with their platform policies and your approval when you connect your number.
Legal Requirements
If we are required to disclose information by court order, government request, or applicable law, we will do so. Where legally permitted, we will notify you before complying.
Business Transfers
If Ordira AI is acquired, merged, or undergoes a restructuring, your data may transfer to the new entity. You will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to delete your account if you wish.
We treat the security of your data seriously and apply layered protections across the platform:
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2 or higher) - Sensitive credentials such as WhatsApp access tokens are stored in encrypted secret management systems, never in plain database columns - Payment data is handled exclusively through Paystack's PCI-compliant infrastructure - Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication - We conduct periodic security reviews and monitor for anomalous activity
No system is perfectly immune to attack. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you promptly and explain the scope and remediation steps taken.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active or as required to provide you the service you have paid for.
When you close your account, we will permanently delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data within 30 days of the closure date. Exceptions apply where retention is required by applicable law — for example, financial transaction records which may need to be retained for regulatory purposes.
Conversation data and order history associated with your customers will be purged on the same schedule unless you have explicitly exported it beforehand.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Correction — Ask us to correct any inaccurate or outdated information.
Deletion — Request that we delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your browsing behaviour to ad networks.
The Ordira AI platform may contain links to external websites or services — for example, the Paystack payment page your customers visit. Once you leave our platform, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use in connection with Ordira AI.
Ordira AI is a business tool intended for use by adults operating legitimate businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has registered an account or submitted data through our platform, please contact us at hello@tryordira.com and we will take immediate action to remove it.
We may revise this Privacy Policy as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and by posting the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continuing to use Ordira AI after a policy update constitutes your acknowledgement of the revised terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account before the changes take effect.
